Obituary for Alphonse Barbato
Alphonse Barbato 82, of Clark Street, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Clement) Barbato.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alphonse, Sr. and Filomena Barbato.
Alphonse was a supervisor for Lenox China for many years. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and he enjoyed cooking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David Barbato of Rumford, RI, Steven Barbato of Warwick, RI and a daughter Lisa Pieri of Tiverton, RI. He also leaves four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Alphonse was predeceased by his sons Kenneth and Kevin, as well as two brothers and two sisters.
