Obituary for Deanne C. Lewis (DePlacido)
Deanne C. (DePlacido) Lewis, 66, beloved wife of Raymond E. Lewis, Jr., of Westminster St., Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Saturday, June 3, 2016.
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Minnie DePlacido.
Deanne worked for The Paragon for many years retiring as their Operations Manager. She was also a devout parishioner of St. Pius X Church.
In addition to her husband, she leaves five sons, Aaron M. Lewis of Narragansett, Mathew J. Lewis of Riverside, Mark E. Lewis of Lebanon, PA, Andrew J. Lewis of Westerly and Christopher P. Lewis of Temecula, CA; and six grandchildren, Austin, Zachary, Lauren, Declan, Nora and Diego. Deanne is also survived by four siblings, Carolyn DePlacido, Alfred DePlacido, Jr., Gloria Willis-Barber and Sandra Andersen, all of Westerly; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Wednesday from 9-10:30a.m., immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly.
