Condolence From: Derek Scheips
Condolence: I feel so lucky to have known Nancy. As a boy, she always treated me especially nicely as a visitor to the R.I. house, and taught me to look for beautiful shells and stones on the beach, how to play backgammon, and was the first person I ever met who wrote poetry herself. I remember that great expanse of lawn and the willow tree and riding the boat out to the awe-inspiring ocean, catching fish, and long dinners beyond sunset and our parents would talk about matters of the day. Sun, laughter, lots of food and drink--charmed times all around in the early-mid 1970s.

Love to Bette and Chip,
Derek Scheips

Condolence: I am so thankful that I was able to send some special time with Aunt Nancy and family. She was a very special and talented lady and both her children have developed those talents. Sending my prayers and best thoughts at her passing and happy to know she can be with her beloved husband and her siblings ( including both my parents) and look forward to the day we can all be together again. Loving thoughts and prayers for all the family and especially to her precious children and my cousins Chip and Bette. The Lord has another angel To watch over us.
