Edward Louis Durfee, Jr., 62, beloved father, son and brother, of Hope Valley, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Sat., February 11, 2017.
Born in Westerly, he was a son of Edith G. Durfee of Hope Valley and the late Edward L., Sr.
Ed worked as a chef at Dunns Corners Pizza & Pub for many years. He enjoyed walking along the beach with his metal detector.
Ed lived his life with the love, support, kindness and generosity that he raised his kids with, and gave so freely to his friends and even strangers. To know Eddie was to love him.
He will be sorely missed by his four children, Rachel, John, Nichole and Yvonne Durfee; a grandson Evan; and seven siblings, Cheryl Durfee Lallo, and Michael, Harry, Ronald, John, Larry and Christopher Durfee.
Funeral services will be private. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in charge of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
