Westerly - Paul D. Salerno passed away at The Clipper on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the age of 74.
Born in Syracuse, New York he was a son of the late Alphonse and Louise Salerno.
Paul attended NFA and graduated from Westerly High. He entered the US Navy after graduation and served for several years.
He began working at Cottrell’s and then was employed as an inside machinist with Electric Boat in Groton for 15 years when he left to start his own business. He retired as the owner of White Cap Arcade which operated for many years in Misquamicut, where he was a member of the Business Association.
He leaves a son Jeremy Lehmann of Niantic, CT; a brother Michael E. Salerno, Sr. of Ashaway; and two grandchildren.
