Obituary for Cosmo D. Manfredi Jr.
Cosmo D. Manfredi, Jr., of Narragansett, RI, passed away at the Westerly Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the age of 81. He was the loving husband of the late Nancy (Kenyon) Manfredi who predeceased him in 2018.
Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Viola and Cosmo D. Manfredi.
Cosmo worked for years as a Health Inspector for the State of Rhode Island until his retirement. He was also the former owner and operator as well as President of Manfredi Enterprises Inc. which he ran for many years. Cosmo was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church and a former member of the Westerly Rotary.
He will be dearly missed by his three children, Lea Ann (Erik) Johnstone and Michelle Manfredi Anderson, all of Westerly and Brian C. (Jill) Manfredi of S Kingstown; his brother Joseph Manfredi also of Westerly; and seven grandchildren, Rhys, Myranda, Trystan, Paige, Lilly, Cameron and Carly. He will also be missed by his niece and all his nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 7 Church St., Bradford at 10am on Tuesday. There is no procession from the funeral home to church.
