Obituary for Priscilla L. Gilluly (Cornell)
Priscilla (Cornell) Gilluly, 82, of Granite Street, Westerly, passed away on November 10, 2022 at her home with family by her side. Priscilla was the devoted wife of the late Edward A. Gilluly, III.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Lucille Cornell.
Priscilla worked as an inspector for Victor Electric and was the owner of her own business, PG Ceramics.
She will be dearly missed by her children, George (Debra) Mosena, Julieann Gilluly, Brenda Palmer, Bonnie Chester, Holly Rome and Timothy Newman; her three siblings, Wilfred “Pete” Cornell, Edith Jacobson, Donald Cornell and wife Jeannie; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Peter Newman, Jr.; her son-in-law Tom Palmer; and granddaughter Holly Marie Robinson.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 12 from 1-3pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Service will take place in the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 12 noon.
