Rose Maiorano, cherished sister and aunt, passed away at her home on East Avenue in Westerly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was 90.

Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Leonardo and Rosa Maiorano.

Rose was a computer operator for A.I.G. for many years and was also the co-owner of The Villa Bed & Breakfast. She was an ardent UCONN Women’s Basketball fan, an accomplished chef and baker specializing in gourmet pies and she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

Rose was an exceptionally sweet and caring person who was very giving to family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Gerolamo “Jerry” Maiorano of Westerly; her niece Roseann Stockman; and nephews, Richard Stockman of Bradford, and Chuck, David and Dennis Sommers. Rose was predeceased by her sisters, Angela Maiorano Sommers and Marie Maiorano Stockman.

Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, August 13th at St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm St., Westerly. Burial will be private.
