Obituary for Stephen G. LaMotte
Stephen G. LaMotte, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at his home in Bradford on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. He was 86.
Born in Worcester, Mass., he was the son of the late Henri and Catherine LaMotte.
Stephen worked as an oil burner technician for A&B Oil for many years. He loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing, lobstering and sailing.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 64 years Selma “Sally” (Granlund) LaMotte of Bradford; nine children, Stephen, Michael, Harold, John, Robert and Pierre LaMotte, Deborah Bilby, Denise Barton and Ellie Snow; as well as 28 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Stephen was predeceased by his daughter Suzanne; and four siblings.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Funeral Service will take place at Chariho Southern Baptist Church, 80 Alton-Bradford Rd., Bradford on Tuesday at 11am. Burial is private.
