Obituary for Delia B. Shea (Barbone)
Delia B. (Barbone) Shea, 71, beloved wife of Michael T. Shea, Sr. of Edgewood Avenue, Ashaway, passed away at Apple Rehab Watch Hill on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Barbone.
An avid New England Patriot fan who also enjoyed crocheting and playing Bingo, Delia was known as an animal lover, especially Golden Retrievers.
In addition to her husband she will be dearly missed by her three children, Michael T. Shea, Jr., Erin Shea and boyfriend Mario, and Brian Shea, all of Ashaway; her sister Janet (Scott) Wells of Bradford; and her Golden Retriever Quincy.
A visiting hour will be held at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Friday from 10-11a.m., immediately followed by a funeral service at 11a.m. in the funeral home.
