Loretta  Brancato (Quattromani)
Loretta (Quattromani) Brancato, of High Street, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 94. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Brancato, Sr.

Born October 28, 1923 in Westerly she was a daughter of the late John L. and Emma (Potter) Quattromani.

Loretta married Thomas October 24, 1942. They traveled to Alabama so Thomas could complete military training before being deployed to fight in WWII. When he returned, they raised their three children in Westerly. Loretta worked in the Design Department at the George C. Moore Company for many years until her retirement in 1990. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Conception Church where she was a member of the Mother’s Guild. She was also a Cub Scouts Den Mother of Troop 10. Loretta enjoyed crafting and being with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her two children, Wayne Brancato and life partner Lorilee Mitchell of California, Janine and husband Russell Schlienz of North Carolina and daughter in law, Camille Brancato of Westerly. She also leaves behind three sisters, Rita Iandolo of MA, Doris Abosso and Patricia Broccolo, both of Westerly; six grandchildren, including Michael Brancato and Michelle Perkins both of Westerly; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Loretta was predeceased by her son Thomas Brancato, Jr.; and four brothers John Jr., Robert, Charles and Joseph Quattromani.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Royal Westerly Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care over the last few months. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boy Scout Troop 10, c/o Fran Fleck, 46 Ashaway Rd., Westerly, RI 02891 or a charity of your choice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly on Monday from 9:30-10:30am immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly.
