Michael J.  Morrison
Michael J. Morrison, 68, beloved companion of Charlene Mellow, of Moss Street, Pawcatuck, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Born in Westerly he was the son of the late James and Marie Morrison.

Michael worked in Security at Foxwoods Resort and Casino for many years. He was a life member of the Pawcatuck Fire Dept. who loved the beach and the Red Sox.

As written in Galatians 5, Michael typified “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control”.

He is also survived by his two brothers, J. Richard (Elizabeth) Morrison of St. Augustine, Fla and John P. (Karen) Morrison of Evergreen, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Liturgy will take place on Friday at 10am at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Main St., Stonington. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Pawcatuck. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Michael Capital Campaign, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379 in Michael’s memory.
