Condolence: Dear Peter and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Our hearts are broken over the loss of Miss Lydia. Miss Lydia was one of a kind person. She had a heart of gold. She gave our three daughters, Justine, Monique, and Gabrielle the gift of dance and so many precious, beautiful memories. Miss Lydia made all her students and parents feel special. Her smile lit up the room. She always gave out hugs to her students and parents who needed them and those who didn't. She had a way of making people feel special and important. She truly had a relationship with all her students and their families. Miss Lydia gave so much of herself to everyone that passed through the doors of her dance studio. All she ever wanted for her students was to have fun... and fun they did. My most loving memory of Miss Lydia is her teaching our youngest daughter, Gabrielle, who has a disability, to dance. "Their dance" was called the shimmy. Miss Lydia did this every Friday night one on one. The laughing, giggling, and singing that came out of that room is a memory that I will never forget. She made Gabrielle feel good about herself. She made her feel that she as well was a gift to this world and important. Gabrielle loved Miss Lydia and still does to this day. She even gave Gabrielle her own private dance recital at her studio. She let her invite whoever she wanted to come. The gifts that she gave Gabrielle and our family changed Gabrielle and our family's lives forever. Still to this day, Gabrielle loves to dance, loves music, and loves singing. And for that alone, we will always be grateful to Miss Lydia. We will always have a special place in our hearts for her. So thank you Miss Lydia for giving us such wonderful, loving memories and for touching our hearts with laughter, dance, and love. I will be listening for the tapping on the floor of heaven, and I will know that it is you dancing among the angels in heaven. You have definitely earned your angel wings. You will be deeply missed. Our hearts will always shimmy for you. We love you. Rocco, Debbie, Justine, Monique, and Gabrielle Tarulli

Condolence: Miss Lydia... a truly amazing spirit. I have so many great memories from my years at your dance school as I know do so many others. I was shocked that you were still teaching up until 2012 but not all that surprised. I have gone back to tap dancing now in my 40s with two little ones and the steps came right back to me. May you family always know that your spirit is alive in all of us and what a special woman you are. Miss you!!
